AubreeKhyleStyle
Aubree Brabham is a sophomore Journalism major, English minor from New Haven, Connecticut studying at Hampton University. Her one true aspiration is to work as a contributing feature writer at Cosmopolitan in the near future. Her interest in Journalism developed very suddenly after an elective journalism class offered at her high school. Soon after that, Aubree declared her major and soon decided that she would engulf herself in the world of journalism via her writing. In a somewhat obsessive state, Aubree subscribed to Cosmopolitan, Glamour, Teen Vogue and also Seventeen, in hopes that she could read her way into a feature writing position. In addition to feature writing, Aubree has a passion for narrative writing as well hoping to eventually publish her own book in the near future.
Aubree Brabham is working towards her future as a feature writer by running her own personal blog namely, “AubreeKhyleStyle.” This blog itself is a lifestyle and advice blog that allows people to gain a little bit of insight on topics like love, self-love, and healthy relationships. In addition to her own personal blog, Aubree has branched out and written for a student-run publication called “The Wave Magazine.” This magazine served as a “watering hole” for HBCU students around the nation to connect and share their experiences. Paired with an app, The Wave Magazine was a true success among students who were hoping to have their voice heard by people who could relate.
Aubree is proficient in most social media outlets including Tumblr, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc. Her handle on most social media outlets @AubreeBrabham.
Aubree Brabham comes from a small family of four in Connecticut. She was raised as a Jehovah’s Witness, so her religious upbringing has molded her into a woman with high moral standards and values. Struggling with identity throughout most of middle school and high school, Aubree Brabham feels as though she is truly coming into her own as a woman.
